USF Fall Dance Concert 2016

Earlier this week I had a great time photographing University of South Florida, School of Theatre and Dance's Fall Dance Concert. Dance is something that has been very important in my life since the age of two when I took my first ballet class. While I don't dance anymore, I love watching and photographing it.

The first piece is "Awakened" choreographed by Andrew Carroll, a rethought and recreation of the original Sleeping Beauty choreographed by Merius Petipa.

I especially loved Aurora's and Phillip's duet, as well as all the solos.

The next is 'A Bridge Beyond' choreographed by Jeannie Travers in collaboration with Lisa Roll. The piece originally premiered at the International Choreographer's Collective Festival in Trinidad.

'fraternity' is choreographed by 2016 EChO Choreographer Gierre Godfrey.

The show ends with 'Dusk,' choreographed by Michael Foley. For more information about the Concert please visit their website.
